Solution

JavaScript Automatically parsed by a text parse rule

When you insert an HTML file that contains JavaScript into Alchemy Catalyst, the JavaScript will automatically be parsed by a text parse rule. This is the same way code segments can be parsed for XML only with HTML the parse rule is a predefined set rule.

The rule that is used to parse the Script segments in a HTML file is always the JavaScript rule under the *.js file extension.

If the JavaScript in your XML file is not parsed as you wish you can edit the JavaScript rule in the ezParse rules so that all the text you want to translate is inserted into the TTK and only the text you wish to translate is inserted into the TTK.
