Online Review Expert

Use this option to establish a connection to GlobalLink Translation and Review portal.

https://www.MyReviewPortal.com/TRP/xmlrpc is the format for a GlobalLink Translation & Review server name.  Alchemy CATALYST will automatically apply the TRP/xmlrpc if necessary, meaning just the server name is required.  If you connect to the internet using a proxy server, you should enter those details here in addition to the URL.

The username and password are required fields.  These are your GlobalLink details and determine your access rights within the online review portal.

Use the Test button to ensure the connection is valid.  The message Connection successful will appear once the details are correct and you can begin to interact with the system by submitting or retrieving content.

This option facilitates the export of segments from an Alchemy CATALYST project to be hosted online for translation or review.  

Submission Files

Use this section to choose the Project TTK files from disk that are to be submitted to the online server.  The buttons at the side should be used to add the correct Project Files for the submission.  All Project TTKs to go into one submission should have the same language.  A warning appears if the project languages are not from the same major language, e.g. French.  Submissions from the same major language, e.g. French (France) and French (Swiss) will be permitted, while projects of different languages will not, e.g. English-French and English-German.  You should create different submissions to process content from different languages.

 

Note: you will need the Project TTK to retrieve the reviewed content when the online workflow is complete.  On selecting to retrieve content from a submission, you will be asked to locate the local Project TTK that was used to create it.

 

Submission Details

Use this section to supply the necessary details that control how the project moves through online translation and review.

Submission Name	Enter a submission a name - this is the how the online submission is identified.  Users of the Translation and Review portal will identify your project work by this name.
Client	This will be your company name or the name of the company hosting the review portal.
Source and Target Languages	These will be prefilled for you with the languages of the first selected Project TTK.  Change these values if you need to override that setting.
Submission Workflow	Use this section to define what steps should be carried out on your content.  For each step, you will choose a date by when that step should be complete.  On the following page, you will also need to choose a user to perform the step.  You will select the user from a predefined list - the user must have the necessary credentials to perform that task.  E.g. if you wish for a translation step to be performed, you must ensure you already have some translators setup in the system. Likewise, to require a Review step, you should have users setup in the portal with review credentials.

The remaining options are GlobalLink specific options and you should refer to the product help for more information.

Reference Material & Glossaries

On the last page of the Submission creation, you have the option to submit any reference material or glossary references that should be used in conjunction with the translation and review steps.

Retrieve Online Review Expert submission

When a project is ready to be retrieved from the Translation & Review Portal, use this option to identify the online submission as well as the local Project TTK to be updated.

Submissions in TRP (Translation & Review Portal)

The available submissions are listed once a connection is available.  Select the submission from where you wish to retrieve the latest updates.  

TTKs to update

When a submission is selected, the name of the Project TTK(s) used to create it are shown in the TTKs to update field.  If you have the TTKs in the same location, proceed using the Next button.  If you need to browse to locate the TTKs into which the edits should be placed, do so using the folder button beside each Project TTK. A warning dialog will appear if the TTKs cannot be located, or do not match language or content.
