Alchemy Layout Managerâ„¢ is award winning, state-of-the-art enterprise software that combines the power and flexibility of Alchemy CATALYST with a robust solution for improving the productivity of localization engineers. It automatically creates localized layouts for software applications ensuring that simultaneous availability of translated applications is a certainty.

How Alchemy Layout Manager works?

Alchemy Layout Manager creates new layouts for localized applications by analyzing the layout of the original application user interfaces. These computer generated layouts require less testing and less engineering helping to reduce project cycle times. This ensure that applications are released to international markets quicker.

Based on award winning and patented technology, generated layouts share the same spatial relationships of the original application, however are re-sized and re-shaped to accommodate translations. This unique technology ensures that generated layouts confirm to your corporate user interface guidelines and standards ensuring consistency of corporate image and branding worldwide.

The accuracy of this layout analysis is so high that even dialogs with overlapping controls can be processed quickly and accurately.

Once a localised layout is generated, it is then tested by Alchemy Layout Manager to determine how good the layout is. Any generated layouts that have a high probability of layout problems will be flagged and suitable error messages displayed in the Results Toolbar.

This ensures that localization engineers can process thousand of dialogs in a single session and only have to check dialogs that have a high probability of error.

In extensive industry trials, Alchemy Layout Manager scored an average accuracy of 97% in generating good layouts, helping our clients achieve SimShip as part of their localization strategy.
