Add Memos

A Memo is an annotation or note. Memos can be applied to individual segments or to items in the project navigator. Memos can be helpful in commenting or annotating items in a project and can be used to communicate between stakeholders in the project.

Segment Level Memo

To apply a memo at the segment level, select the segment in the Translator Toolbar and edit the Memo field in the Properties tab.

Hover over the memo symbol in the string list to read a segment memo.

You can display the memo column in the string list so memo content is always visible.

Item Level Memo

	Comments: Enter an annotation or note here. Any item in a project that has a Memo will have the symbol displayed alongside it.
	Append if memo exists: Select this option to append new memos to existing ones in a project.

Memos can be added to individual items in the Workspace pane using the Translators toolbar. Click on an item and then enter annotations or notes in the Memo file of the Properties windows.
