An inconsistent translation is a string that does not match its entry in the active glossary. For example, if the glossary contains the Japanese translation 終了 for the English word Exit, and this word is translated differently in the project, Alchemy CATALYST can highlight this inconsistency.

To check for translation inconsistencies, at least one active glossary file must be configured. To learn how to configure a glossary file, please refer to Configuring A Glossary.

To check for translation inconsistencies:

1. Select an item or group of items in the Project Navigator window.

2. Click on the Glossary Consistency Check button located in the POWER TRANSLATE ribbon.

3. Any translation inconsistencies will be displayed in the Results window. Click on these error messages to locate them in the Project TTK.
