QuickShip Expert

This expert provides a convenient mechanism to distribute TTK project files to translators. It does this by creating a self-expanding executable that can contain several project TTK files, glossary files and other project information. These are referred to as QuickShip Bundles.

As these bundles are compressed they can be conveniently attached to emails or placed on FTP servers. When a translator attempts to open a bundle, it will automatically decompress the files contained in the bundle so they can be translated.

Translators do not need to have a full license of Alchemy CATALYST in order to work on QuickShip Bundles. They can use Alchemy CATALYST: Translator/LITE Edition to work on QuickShip Bundles, which is available as a free download from the Alchemy Software Development main web site.
