This section is intended for Alchemy CATALYST users who wish to re-use  translation assets stored in an Idiom WorldServer 8.0/9.0 deployment. This extends the power and flexibility of the Alchemy PowerTranslate Toolbar and Alchemy Leverage Expert  and is an essential addition to anyone using an Idiom workflow to translate their web based content.

This component works with Idiom WorldServer 8.0/9.0. In order to use this functionality, it's important that the Idiom WorldServer is deployed and available within your network domain and that you have been granted suitable access privileges to access content stored there. Please contact your Database Administrator if you need to check your account details and privileges.

An Idiom Translation Memory can be configured as an Active TM using the Alchemy WorldServer Component. This means that Alchemy PowerTranslate functionality  is now available to translators wishing to re-use translated content from an Idiom WorldServer TM. Additionally, using the Alchemy Leverage Expert it is now possible to apply translations from an Idiom WorldServer deployment to the contents of a Project TTK.

Fuzzy and ICE Matches

Idiom WorldServer does not support the concept of Fuzzy Matches, however it does implement something similar, which is referred to ICE matches. These are high quality in-context matches based on meta-data contained in an Idiom WorldServer deployment. Alchemy CATALYST can identify these types of matches and display them correctly during Leverage and PowerTranslate operations.
