Overview: Project Statistics

Use the Project Statistics pane to view translation statistics about the currently active Project TTK. These statistics can help in determining the cost and schedule for a localization project.

What do you want to do?

Click on to view a detailed statistical report about your active Project Your project is where you manage and organize all the files that are to be localised. TTK. This contains translation statistics about every item in a Project TTK. The columns of this report are as follows:-

	Words: Absolute number of words in a Project TTK.
	Translatable: Number of words that are translatable in a Project. Segments that are locked are not included in the wordcount analysis.
	Unique Words: Number of translatable words minus the total number of duplicate words.
	Duplicates: Combined wordcount of all segments that are duplicated or repeated in a Project TTK.
	Translated: Absolute number of words that are marked as Translated in a Project TTK. This includes all For Review, Leveraged and Signed-Off These are segments/strings in a Project TTK file that have been marked as 'Signed-off' and final.This is the translation status applied to a string that has been translated, reviewed and eventually signed-off by an Editor or translator. segments.
	Not Translated: Number of words that are untranslated This is the default Translation Status applied to all items inserted into a Project TTK. in a Project TTK.
	For Review: Number of words that are marked For Review ( ) in a Project TTK.
	Signed Off: Number of words that are marked as Signed-Off ( ) in a Project TTK.
	Segments: Number of segments in a Project TTK.
	TotalResources: Number of resources in a Project TTK.

Click on to view a summary statistical report about your active Project TTK.

The columns of this report are as follows:-

Click on to save the contents of the Statistics pane to a CSV file. This file can then be used by 3rd Party applications such as MS Word and MS Excel to calculate project costs and schedules.

The exported CSV file will contain a mirror image of the information displayed in the Statistics pane. SO open and closed groups will be contained in the exported file.

Statistic reports can be customised by adding or remove columns from the Statistics pane.

Adding a new Column

Click on the header of the Statistics pane. Right click with the mouse and select Add Column from the popup menu.
Select new column from the list available on the screen.

Removing a Column

Click on the column that you want to remove in the Statistics pane.
Right click with the mouse and select DeleteColumn from the popup menu.

Sorting

To sort the Statistics pane by any column, simply right click it with the mouse and select Sort Ascending or Sort Descending from the popup menu.
