Customizing Application Options |
Use Application Options to configure the general behaviour and appearance of the various visual editors that make up the Alchemy CATALYST project environment.
Autosave: Use this option to automatically save Project TTK files at regular intervals. You need to specify a directory where Alchemy CATALYST will store this work. The default unless changed is the AutoSave folder in the Catalyst public folder location. |
Show document selection dialog on startup: Select this option to see the Document Selection dialog box each time Alchemy CATALYST is launched. |
Display inline tags in string view: Select this option to display inline tags in the string view of the Project WorkSpace pane. |
Disable Machine Translation in any projects I create: Select this option to disable machine translation services in a Project TTK. |
Set individual string locks when freezing objects: Use this option to apply individual locks to sub-items when freezing group items in the Project Navigator panel. |
Include debug information for runtime validation: Select this option to embed debug information into your desktop applications when running the Alchemy CATALYST Runtime Validate Expert. This debug information contains location information for each elements on a dialog box. This information is used to determine the location of errors during runtime validation. |
Use New Project Expert when creating TTKs: Select this item if you want the New Project Expert to appear each time you create a new Project TTK. |
Mirror Coordinates when flipping dialogs: Right to Left layout for MFC dialogs is normally achieved by setting an extended style (WS_EX_LAYOUTRTL) bit on the dialog. The actual co-ordinate values do not need to change to achieve Right to Left layout when using this style bit. However, if your dialogs are for older operating systems that do not support this style bit, Catalyst can achieve a similar result by editing the co-ordinate values of all controls so the controls are all mirrored on the dialog. Set this check box to perform co-ordinate mirroring instead of using the style bit. |
CATALYST Sign-in: This is the default name that will be used to identify changes in History records for each item in a project. |
